Tarot Universal édition professionnelle Le Maître illustrateur italien Roberto De Angelis s'est inspiré de l'iconographie décrite par A. E. Waite dans ses oeuvres pour recréer dans un style moderne la même instantanéité symbolique que les tarots de Pamela Colman Smith. Le style plus doux et plus dynamique de Angelis vole quelque chose à la synthèse et à la sobriété symbolique des illustrations pré-raphaéliques. En revanche, le style est plus conforme à notre époque et davantage en syntonie avec la pensée de l'homme contemporain.

L'auteur propose ici un jeux de tarot inspiré des plus grande création moderne en la matière. Fidèle au symbolisme ésotérique proposé au début du XXe siècle par le plus grand occultiste anglais, chaque Arcane est interprétée à travers une clé de précision picturale, offrant des réponse précises et de la profondeur dans l'interprétation de chacune des cartes.
