The Tarot from Tours
Our future will always be our present, cards do not lead
our lives, they only contribute to a better handling of our
lives. We all need to remain master of our destiny, yet it is
necessary not to abuse of that control.
Tarot can be considered as a guide. A deep sincerity must be within you so you can become a
supporter of that game. This deck of oracle cards is called «The Tarot of Tours» for Tours, the town where I live is situated in the heart of the
Loire valley. This town is a place in France where lives of
Lords and peasants were ruled by either good or evil beliefs
(...). Each lord, in its land used to know someone who would
predict him the future.
Characters of those cards have been sculpted and painted on steel (dimension 49 x 33 cm) and drawn on paper. You will notice an iron worked sphere replaces the heads so that, unlike other oracle game, the soothsayer but also the consulting person can imagine the faces once cards are told.
